Historical territory, environment, and cultural landscapes
Attività
Without neglecting the most famous monuments, this line of activity places particular emphasis on ‘minor’ or ‘widespread’ architectural heritage: that dense web of cultural assets and ‘places of memory’ (vernacular architecture, ancient villages, historic factories and craft workshops, etc.) that defines the deep soul of the European landscape.
The objective is to analyze and enhance the evolution of the landscape as a cultural asset from antiquity to the present day, exploring the concept of a cultural and living landscape: a dynamic space where the millenary interaction between man and nature has generated unique historical identities.
