THE PRESIDENT
HAVING REGARD TO:
The European Commission Guidelines “Horizon Europe Guidance on Gender Equality Plans (GEPs)” of 29 September 2021, containing the indications for the drafting of Gender Equality Plans in compliance with the eligibility criteria of the Horizon Europe Programme.
TAKING INTO ACCOUNT THAT:
The Plan also aims to implement the objectives of equal opportunities and gender equality, boosting the work-life balance and organizational culture, gender equality in leadership and decision-making processes, as well as in recruitment processes and career growth, by implementing positive and integrated internal strategies that generate total operational, organizational, environmental, social, eco-sustainable, and health-related well-being. And last but not least, public value.
• The Center has only 2 (two) permanent human resources.
Therefore, in implementing the aforementioned Guidelines, the Center undertakes to:
* dedicate human resources and gender expertise to its implementation.
* promote awareness-raising/training actions on gender equality and unconscious gender bias for staff and decision-makers.
* proceed with data collection and monitoring in accordance with the following recommended requirements:
1) Work-life balance and organizational culture
2) Gender equality in leadership and decision-making
3) Gender equality in recruitment and career progression
4) Integration of the gender dimension into research and teaching content
5) Measures against gender-based violence, including sexual harassment.
