The project implementation methodology for Dobrudja region (Romania) consists of the development of many types activities. Their corroborated results will contribute at the achievement of its general objective.


The general plan for the implementation take into consideration the time limits previewed in the financing contract between the institution which implements the project and European Commission. So, the entire implementation methodology in Romania consists in the following 3 types of activities:


1. SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH (5 months)

2. ELABORATION OF THE MATERIALS FOR DISSEMINATION (4 months)

3. DISSEMINATION (3 months)


The studied localities were: Isaccea, Niculiţel, Slava Rusă, Babadag, Enisala, Jurilovca, Murighiol, Dunavăţu de Jos, Sulina, Sfântu Gheorghe. The selectionwas made in base of many corroborated criteria in order to spotlight the cultural and natural aspects specific to the region.


These criteria asked for:


 being localities with a high social potential , capable to sustain the scenary for touristical utilization of the cultural potential. This scenary will be the result of the present project;

 benefitting by the presence in the area of some museal or patrimonial objectives administrated by Tulcea Eco-Museal Research Institute;

 offering a natural framework with elements specific to the studied region and which deserve to be valorised;

 being situated in archeological investigations areas, opened to the scientific research (in order to promote eventually the archeological tourism);

 being localities situated, from the geographical point of view, in areas which emphasize the natural syncretism of the region (hills, Danube River, Black Sea seacost);

 being localities with some experience in touristical valorisation and localities being at the first steps on this way (localities where there touristical board and lodging can be found and localities where this organized form of rural tourism is still absent);

 being multiethnical communities.
